Andy Auld  Add this Funeral Celebrant to your Favourites

Losing a loved one is heart-breaking.

It’ is an event we will all encounter at some stage during our lives. It is an experience you should never have to face alone, or without guidance and a lending ear.

As a qualified UKSOC Funeral Celebrant, I want to introduce myself and be your helping hand and listening ear.

Allow me to give your Loved One the “Celebration Of Life” Ceremony you feel they deserve. I want you to help you give your nearest and dearest a fitting final goodbye.

I take great pride in creating and presenting bespoke Funeral Ceremonies at Crematoria, at the graveside, or at natural burial sites. I also prepare and perform personalised Memorial Ceremonies.

As a Secular Celebrant, I can offer you a personal, unique, and memorable commemorative ceremony without the kind of restrictions on location, or readings, poetry and music that are frequently imposed by churches or humanists.

Funerals do not need to be melancholy occasions. The Funeral Service itself is your final chance to say good bye, and I believe it`s best to fill the precious time available with those treasured memories and words you and your family actually want to hear.

For the “Celebration of Life” Ceremonies I conduct, my aim is for all those who attend to feel uplifted, and even feel a sense of joy for the life that was lived. Through poetry, song choices, and pictures, we can reflect on a life well lived, while always fully respecting and embracing traditional family mourning.

The services I conduct are religion neutral. Your Ceremony can have hymns and the Lords` Prayer if you wish, but there are no real constraints for your personal expressions these days. You can play Mozart or the Teletubbies or Ed Sheeran, and read from Shakespeare or The Beatles .. whatever is most personal to your loved one, it is your choice ALWAYS.

My aim is to work alongside your chosen Funeral Director to offer you help and guidance through an often sad and emotionally difficult time.

It is a privilege to take on this trusted role, and I have had the honour of conducting many “Celebration of Life” Ceremonies throughout Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Wiltshire and Berkshire.

I was born in Ayrshire and have now lived in England for over 30 years. However, I am always happy to be asked to go further afield for Ceremonies that have required a particular “Scottish” theme.

If you are looking to provide a final farewell celebration for your loved one and feel that I can help you in any way please call me directly, or ask your Funeral Director to contact me, and I will get in touch with you personally.

Assuring you of my best attention always.
