Barny Harisson was recommended to us by our local Funeral Director. I cannot begin to explain just how professional, empathetic, and remarkable this man is. He attended our home to discuss the funeral service for our recently departed mother. He took time to listen to a protracted story of her life, making notes and extracting exactly what information he needed to compile a truthful eulogy befitting her existence. He had useful suggestions about the service, Order of Service, poems and generally answered any questions we had. And there were a lot of things we were unsure of. He was, and is , most welcome in our home. After the meeting he sent us a draft copy of our thoughts, but in his words. He was more than open and willing for us to add alter or amend anything within this draft and return it to him. This we did. On the day of the service he conducted the ceremony as if he had known Mum all his life. He was respectful, sincere and even funny in places(which Mum would have liked).He, along with the funeral directors made an awful event very bearable and, as a family we cannot thank him enough. I understand that as a celebrant he also conducts weddings. I would have NO hesitation in employing Barny to conduct a wedding as I do in conducting funeral services. A truly remarkable man who I strongly recommend without reservation. Once again Thank you Barny you did Mum proud.

I attended a Funeral service today which was led by Barny and I just wanted to say what a wonderful job you did on really telling us all about Nick in such a lovely way.
As a former Funeral Director in the area I am only sorry our paths never crossed as I would have surely recommend you.
I have conducted my share of funerals but can honestly say today's really stood out. Not an easy task trying to get everything across in a warm, caring way in such a short timeframe and to a large capacity. You wouldn't have got to see us outside listening on the speakers but I can tell you there were lots of smiles and nods of heads when you relayed the Eulogy.
Thank you Barny, my daughter ( former Funeral arranger) and I walked away feeling quite uplifted and said the warmth of today was the best we have seen and as you will imagine we have seen quite a few.

Barny conducted my mother's funeral and I can honestly say that he made the day a special day - he got my mum to a tee. I'd never heard of a celebrant before - I am so thankful to the funeral directors that made us aware of him - what a lovely, warm and friendly man he is!
