Diane recently took care of Jim Townshend's woodland funeral at Hexham cemetery. It was a wonderful send-off and were all touched and moved by the day and the time and energy that Diane put into the proceedings.

We first met Diane when she came to the house to discuss what we wanted said during the service.

Not Sure she realised what she was letting herself in for, but got stuck in, making copious notes from what appeared to me to be highly random, unconnected comments, snippets of history and anecdotes. Somehow, three hours had elapsed and an enormous epistle had been derived from which Diane cut and trimmed, augmented and magnified and produced a lovely result for the funeral.

The day itself was conducted with decorum and dignity (well apart from the rendition of "Happy Birthday" at the graveside which was probably a surprise to everyone present, especially Diane for whom the rendition was directed)

We cannot recommend Diane highly enough. Charming and generous, quiet and strong. She guided us through what was an inevitably difficult and sad day. Injecting poise and professionalism into proceedings but still managing to keep things light enough for smiles to be showing around the congregation.
