What a wonderful caring and compassionate lady. The funeral director introduced us to Karen for a civil service for my dear dad.  She came to our home, helped and guided us through what to do,how to even start the eulogy and once we had e-mailed our requests and memories she
e-mailed us back a full copy of the service she would read, the very next morning.  There was not one thing that we needed to change, she conducted the service with grace and compassion,and we could not have wished for nicer person to give my Dad the good send off he so deservedAt the most hardest and saddest time of my life I was so relieved to have Karen helping me us along the way.Everybody commented on what a lovely service, a credit and even saying it way the nicest service they had been to. Thank you so much Karen I will be in touch. My sister died tragically and unexpectedly last month and Karen was both extremely supportive and helpful, guiding us through the organisation of the funeral service at a time when we were distraught. This made such a difference at a heartbreakingly sad time. She conducted a fantastic service and was sensitive to our needs throughout, but helped us pay tribute to my sister's life in a really positive way. She took the time to meet the family and learn about Derek and his spirit was conveyed through her warm and heartfelt comments. When my mother died, it was the suggestion of the funeral director that, as we are not a religious family, we consider having a ‘civil’ celebrant to lead Mum’s service. I didn't know that such a role existed. And that’s how I met Karen, who is calm, kind and so professional in the way she carries out her work.

Karen led me through the planning of the service, timings etc and on the day, when I was unable to read Mum’s eulogy, she just picked it up and made it work. Nothing was too much trouble and she really turned things into a celebration of life.

I cannot praise this lady too highly – she is just lovely!
