Here are some recent testimonials, as featured on Roxanne's website:
Thank you for doing such a wonderful service on Friday, Mum would have loved it. Beautifully read and presented and even wearing her favourite colour, a perfect way to say our goodbyes. Mum didn't want it to be morbid, and it certainly wasn't, so thank you so much."
"Hi Roxy, just want to say on behalf of my family, a very big and heartfelt thank you. Absolutely spot on with the service, everybody commented on the fact that it was like you had known Ally all her life! Take that as high praise please! Dad was blown away by the way you addressed us all and how you portrayed Ally's character and sense of fun. Difficult day but made all the better by the memories you have set up for us all with such a fitting tribute to a soul who will be surely missed.......but never forgotten. Thanks again, regards and best wishes from the whole family."
"A friends funeral . Sad day and a fantastic service delivered by probably the best in the business. Even more so when you realise the dear departed was a friend to Roxanne . Such a professional."
"I just wanted to thank you so very much for the beautiful service that you gave for my Mother yesterday. Everyone remarked about the service and how wonderful you were. All my family agreed that we couldn't have had a better choice, you made the service so personal and caring I know Mum would have agreed as well. Thank you for taking the trouble to get all the wording and timing just right, not forgetting phone calls and words of encouragement. As you said your job chose you and I'm sure that's the case - you are so suited to that role you have so much empathy and understanding for peoples feelings. I have only just undone the service sheet you gave me yesterday which is a lovely memento to keep, another little touch which means so much. Thank you again from all of us, you made Mum's funeral a real celebration of her life."
"The fact that we were so strong today was aided by your help and guidance in the days leading up to us saying our final farewell to Bill. Knowing you were there to support us was an immense comfort to us all and for that we are eternally grateful. You are a very special person, Roxanne, with an incredible flair for what you do and the ability to make people feel at ease and reassured in your presence. Thank you for the beautiful service; it
was more than we could have ever imagined it to be and everyone who attended commented on how lovely you and the service was.
We wish you all the best for the future. It has been our absolute pleasure to have met you and, if our paths ever cross in the future, we hope it is under happier circumstances."
"Your respectful light hearted and confident delivery of all we had discussed was better than we hoped. I chuckled 'inwardly' that you had worn a sky blue blouse - it was noted and enjoyed. Many people commented on the service and that's a credit to you and Mum & Martins beautiful words.
Thank you for making a difficult time run smoothly."
"I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you, for what I am reliably informed was the most personal cremation service people had ever witnessed. For me, if I am honest, it was all a bit of a blur, but it was very reassuring looking up and seeing you there. I think this is testament to your effort and our thought.
We are all completely shell shocked at the turn of events but I am sure we will look back in the not too distant future and think, we gave our mum the best send off possible.
Bless you for everything and I wish you all the very best for the future."
