Hello, and thanks for reading my profile, I am a certified civil celebrant and I am based in Shropshire but more than happy to travel to Staffordshire, Powys, Cheshire, West Midlands. I work with funeral directors and also directly with families who have recently lost a loved one. My role is provide you with a bespoke meaningful and beautiful service either by cremation or burial to celebrate the life of your loved one.
I will work with you to write a personalised service to tell a personal and fitting goodbye. This can be a non religious service or can include elements of spiritual beliefs, cultural practices or masonic text, exactly as you wish. As an expereinced headteacher at a school for children and young people with mental health issues and autism I work with families through what is an incredibly emotional time and empathise with the emotional state families go though, partculary children, when they lose a loved one. I spend time with my families and I help guide them through what is a difficult journey offering support and advice all the way.
As a qualified musician I can accompany and hymns or songs on the organ or piano and also sound the Last Post on the bugle as a mark of respect to the deceased if they served in the military or emergency services.
