Stewart Donnelly's name was given to us by the funeral director in Kilmarnock and I'm so glad they did. He made contact with us within the day and made an appointment to come to our house. He gave us guidance and comfort and gently allowed us to talk about Janet's life. His phone was always on and we were able to contact him and make some late changes to what we wanted. Even on the morning of the funeral, we had forgotten a small event and sent a text to Stewart, which he responded to and included in his eulogy.
Stewart was brilliant in his ability to celebrate Janet's life with touching anecdotes, humour and humility. There was an element of religious content which we asked for, for those who might have wished for some. We cried a little, laughed a bit but mostly smiled at her memory.
It's testament to Stewart's work, that every person at the tea afterwards, commented on how lovely the celebration was and how many times a word or story struck a personal chord with them. Well done Stewart and from all our family Thank You.

Stewart contacted my father in law via the undertakers and i can honestly say he is the most down to earth and easy to talk to guy ever, my father in law was in bits when he arrived but he gave him the time and guidance to go through everything and come the day of the funeral we honstly felt as if he had known her all her life everything we had talked about was there, and the whole service flowed lovely . So thank you from us all

stewart conducted the service for my mums farewell, and everyone I spoke to later who was at the service said he did my mum proud ,he came to our house a few days before hand to get a few details about my mum ie her date of birth ,where she was born ,where she grew up how and where she had met my dad ,any hobbies she had ,and especially any wee stories about her ,if folk aren't very religious this is the person they need ,highly recommended even read out 3 nice poems he had with him ,so thanks very much stewart

Stewart was put in touch with our family by the undertakers. Stewart made contact with us within a day of us making the arrangements for my mum. When he arrived at the house, he spoke to each family member with ease and gave each of us time to answer his questions about her, especially my dad as he had been ill since my mum passed a few days earlier. I would like to thank you to Stewart for the beautiful service that you gave for mum on the 31st March 17. You made the service feel as though you knew her personally.
