As a Funeral Director I have unfortunately had to find a nice funeral celebrant for my Grandma's funeral last week.
A sad time fulfilling my duties made even worse by a Celebrant cancelling on me so I began the task of finding someone suitable and available.
Luckily Sharon Rushworth was recommended to me and after a brief conversation I thought she would be suitable for my Grandma's farewell.
Sharon met with my mum to discuss my Gran's life and the funeral details and my mum was very pleased with the service throughout. I found Sharon to be very easy to liaise with professionally and the funeral service was everything it needed to be for a grand old lady.
Sharon got my Gran's life perfectly in to the service with such care and compassion.

I had the very sad privilege to arrange my mother-in-law's funeral this week and Sharon took the service. Words cannot express how utterly amazing this woman is. She was friendly, supportive, warm, considerate, thoughtful, generous, understanding and so professional that the pain off loss began to subside. The days before I felt supported and Sharon went out of her way to keep in constant touch, it felt like ours was the only funeral that mattered to Sharon. The funeral itself was beautiful beyond words. Sharon spent time getting to know my mother-in-law and the words she said came straight from the heart. Everyone remarked upon how wonderful she was and how it felt like Sharon knew her and seemed genuinely moved.
I cannot express my gratitude to Sharon. I unequivocally recommend her to anyone who wants a beautiful, thoughtful, individual service with someone who genuinely cares.
