Why you should consider a Celebrant for a Funeral Service.

When it comes to Funeral services theres a lot to consider but with a celebrant by your side, you can feel assured that your service will be delivered beautifully and in a way that fits the wishes of the beraved and honours the memory of the departed.

I present a heartfelt and personal ceremony, providing an opportunity for grieving, bidding farewell, expressing gratitude, and celebrating the unique essence of life.

Traditionally, when arranging a funeral service, individuals would typically opt for either a Vicar or a Humanist.

They face a choice:

A 'religious' church service steeped in generations-old liturgy.

A humanist service devoid of any religious elements.

However, the majority of the population falls somewhere between these two extremes.

I introduce an alternative: A funeral service crafted with deep sentiment and tailored to you, your family, and your beloved departed.

I bridge the gap between these two ends of the spectrum: A funeral service can be imbued with spirituality to the extent you desire or completely devoid of it, offering flexibility to accommodate your preferences.

You might consider Three Beautiful Alternatives Instead of a Church Service:

Chapel Ceremony at a Crematorium: The chapels are modern, beautiful, tastefully decorated and offer music (piped, recorded or organ). The service would be followed by cremation and the ashes could either be scattered or interred, maybe at a Natural Burial Ground.

Funeral Home with a Private Chapel: Followed by either a traditional burial or cremation. Maybe also consider a Natural Burial Ground for burial or interment of ashes.

Green Funeral at a Natural Burial Ground: Sites can be mown wildflower meadows, field sites where new woodland is being established, set within existing woodland or more manicured parkland settings. You can choose to have the full service at the Natural Burial Ground, or if there is to be a cremation, then the remains can be interred there.

You choose whether to have a traditional-style service with hymns, readings and prayers or something different. I will discuss the service with sympathy, sensitivity, and understanding.
