I have a natural empathy with people and my previous experience of working in the hospice sector has helped hone, develop and fine tune those skills to enable me to provide a tailored service to your specific needs. Saying farewell holds a mixture of emotions and I will honour those feelings in your service. You can be assured I will be empathetic, sensitive and supportive throughout the entire process.
I understand the service is not only reflective but also one that is personal to the departed offering unique, tasteful additions which allow and enable all guests to enjoy the memories and embrace the loved ones personality in a positive and respectful way. I will work closely with your Funeral Director and support you and your family by meeting you in your home to assist in the preparation of the service. This will include help with music, poems, readings and writing the eulogy.
I am not a member of a particular faith group, nor am I a humanist which means the services I conduct may contain no religious element at all but I am also free to include (perhaps) a favourite hymn or even a prayer if wanted which is not always possible if a service is strictly of a humanist nature. It is all about choice and your freedom to chose the service that you want for your loved one.
I will then officiate at the ceremony at a crematorium, burial ground or even a special place you may have chosen. Ceremonies can include cremations, internment of ashes, graveside burials and the scattering of ashes
My pledge is to create and officiate at a meaningful, memorable and fitting end of life tribute. My clients love the work I do in growing numbers and tell me so as the following clearly shows:
“Just a note to thank you for your support and guidance over the past couple of weeks and for helping to make the service yesterday the rite of passage we wanted”
"Thank you very much for speaking at X funeral today. It was perfect and just what I wanted. Everyone commented on it, friends and family alike"
“Just wanted to say what a comfort it was to have somebody so understanding and sympathetic to help us with the preparation of a totally personalised and unique funeral for Dad. It made the event much more bearable knowing that you were there not only to speak but to generally look out for all of us”
Services provided within a 50 mile Radius.
