Pastor Peter Simpson 
Description
Pastor Peter Simpson was ordained into the Christian ministry in 1990 and has some 35 years' experience as the minister of an independent Methodist church in Buckinghamshire. He has also served as Chaplain at the Alde House Elderly Persons Home in Bucks.
He is now based in the northeast of England in the Teesside region. He likes to meet with the grieving family to learn about the departed one's life, so as to incorporate some important facts into his short address at the funeral in the context of giving thanks to God for happy memories.
The service which he offers is of a traditional nature with prayers, a Bible reading and one or two traditional hymns. An appropriate dignity and reverence are always key aims, and also to provide pastoral support for those who are bereaved.
