Having worked with bereaved families as part of my career, including delivering accredited courses to health care and community workers, ‘Counselling Skills In Loss’, this field of work was a natural choice as I retired from my role as Director of a Healthy Living Centre in 2014.
With over 20 years experience in bereavement work, over 40 years experience as a Registered Social Worker and 15 years a teacher/trainer, families can make use of my expertise in the preparation and delivery of the funeral of their loved one.
Over my career, I have undertaken public speaking around the Country at; The House of Lords, Birmingham NEC, Bradford City Hall, Nottingham University Conference and at the Tavistock Medical Practitioners conference.
My career experiences were the perfect combination to work as a Civil Celebrant. In 2014 I attained the Diploma in Civil Funerals and became a Civil Celebrant through the Institute of Civil Funerals.
Each service delivered is tailored to the needs of that family and is unique to them.
Advice and guidance is available to all families in dealing with their loss, I make myself available 24/7 with the family until the day of the funeral; no family has ever abused this.
I also undertake pre planning of funerals, scattering of the ashes ceremony and internments.
Services provided within a 30 mile Radius.
