Gill provided a beautiful, personal service for my husband Simon Scott, who sadly lost his battle with cancer in March 2015 aged just 43. Gill met with me and my family prior to the service, and listened intently to our recollections of Simon's wonderful life, and turned my ramblings into such a beautiful, well written, personal, emotional and humorous service. Almost everyone who attended the service commented that it was lovely, and a few people have since asked for Gill's details - I am sure this is quite rare at funerals. I have never really liked the term 'humanist' but absolutely love that Gill was a 'celebrant' and that was exactly what Gill provided - a celebration of life. Thank you Gill - you are an amazing lady.
